2012 Accepted Student Overnight

As an accepted Freshman for Fall/Summer 2012, you are invited to come spend 24 hours in the life of a computer science or computational media major at Georgia Tech.  You will have the opportunity to stay in on-campus housing with a current student, attend a class and research demos, and get to know current and future College of Computing students. The overnight will take place on Sunday, March 4th and Monday, March 5th.

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing honors young women at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests. The Award offers both national and local "affiliate" competitions to generate support and visibility for women's participation in communities nationwide.

Microsoft College Puzzle Challenge

The Microsoft College Puzzle Challenge is an annual puzzle-solving competition held simultaneously on campuses across North America. Teams race to solve puzzles, with prizes (and glory!) going to the fastest teams at each location and overall.

I3 Experience Summer Camp - Project Cruise Control

The I3 Experience is a program designed to motivate and support high school students in the creation of personal expressions of technology through hands-on, project-based learning. Campers are provided with the opportunity, space, resources, and encouragement needed to pursue their interests in computing.

In Project Cruise Control, campers will build a car and maneuver it with their minds.
