Kitchen Science Investigators
Kitchen Science Investigators, a project led by Regents' Professor Janet Kolodner, is focused on the creation and implementation of an after school/summer camp program in which elementary and middle school students learn science and scientific reasoning through cooking.
CS1 with Robots - Fall 2007 Performances
All robot exercises in the CS1 with Robots (CS1301) course include demonstrations. The demonstrations are depicted and evaluated as performances. A non-competitive, collaborative, and social environment is encouraged for learning and designed to motivate students to strive for higher goals.

CSIA Town Hall
The CSIA provided an opportunity for consumers and businesses to learn more about what should be done to secure personal information and what role government should play in ensuring such information is protected. The Honorable Thurbert E. Baker, Georgia Attorney General was the featured keynote speakers, followed by a panel representing industry and academic experts.
GTISC Identity Management Summit
The Summit's executive panel examined the technology and policy challenges associated with managing access to digital information in a secure and usable manner. The following industry leaders participated in the panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Paul Judge, chief technology officer at CipherTrust: Jeff Schmidt, chief executive officer of Authis; Richard W. Sam Phillips, senior vice president of corporate information security for Bank of America; Rob Webb, chief technology officer for Equifax; Richard J. Lipton, professor at the Georgia Tech College of Computing; Dr. Burt Kaliski, vice-president of research at RSA Security and chief scientist of RSA Labs; Chris Meaney, vice president of secure networks, Siemens.
