Short bio
- I got my BS with mention in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería(Lima- Perú) in 2008
- I was a Visiting Student at Carnegie Mellon (Biorobotics Lab) during Fall 2009. I think there I realized that I seriously wanted to do Research
- Thanks to Fulbright Peru, I was able to apply to 5 US universities for my graduate studies
- On August 16, 2010 I came to Atlanta for the first time
Facts
- I was born the same year Systers and IROS were created (do some search and find out)
- I am a left-handed (as my sister) who uses her right hand to move the mouse
- I occassionally write a non-academic blog
- I hate flights and avoid them as much as possible. Nonetheless, I travel twice per year to my natal city (where all my family lives)
- I like to dance, which does not mean that I am a good dancer; consequently I like to take dance lessons. I am a novice Irish Step dancer and am currently kicking a lot of guys during my Tango classes :)
- I learned to ride a bike just before coming to Atlanta (23 years old). Since then, Carabela(my bike) and me are always together
