Ashwin Lall

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Computing in Georgia Tech, working with Jim Xu. Beginning in Fall 2010, I will be an assistant professor in the Math/CS department at Denison University.

I'm interested in using data streaming techniques to summarize very large data sources. Much of my work, including my Ph.D. thesis, has been on applying data streaming to networking applications. I am also interested in applying streaming algorithms in other domains such as databases, distributed systems, sensor networks, and natural language processing.
