Hi and welcome to my webpage!
I am a Graduate student at the college of computing since Aug 2005.
I got my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from NITK (National Institute of Technology,
Karnataka which was formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering
College (KREC) or REC, Suratkal).
During my final year (senior year) at NITK I worked for Synopsys R&D labs on compilers for
EDA (Electronic Design & Automation) in Electronics department in the campus.
After my bachelors I worked for Yahoo!
for the search & market team and then for Microsoft in the windows product
division before deciding to pursue Graduate Studies.
My broad research interests include:
- Distributed systems
(Mobile systems & P2P in particular)
- Data mining and
algorithms
- Operating systems
