This web pages documents an research study performed with the Geo robot which was a modified Pleo robot. Two different versions of Geo were implemented; one with socially engaging behaviors and one without. The study involved have experiment participant teach the robot a dance during which the interactions between the participant and Geo were monitored and recorded. The results of the study found that having engaging socially behaviors positively effects the human's own subjective view of the interaction.
