I have moved to Cambridge University - this page is updated rarely

My name is Gabriel Brostow. I recently completed my Ph.D. in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My group is the Computational Perception Lab which was founded by my advisor, Irfan Essa. We are the vision & animation arm of the interdisciplinary GVU Center.

Briefly stated, my research is on computational perception of motion; analysing it in video, modeling it, and synthesizing it. This work is exciting because it can potentially impact diverse areas ranging from A.I. to Biomechanics to special effects. Below you'll find links to some of my published research.

Starting in Fall 2004, I am a Marshall Sherfield Fellow working as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Roberto Cipolla at the Vision & Robotics group at Cambridge University.
