I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Georgia Tech. My main research interests are in the theory and applications of machine learning. I am co-advised by two incredible researchers, Nina Balcan and Le Song. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from Caltech where I was an undergraduate researcher in the DNA and Natural Algorithms Group working on tools for DNA sequence design.
Last fall I took some time off from grad school in order to work full time at Oncora Medical, a digital health company I co-founded with my good friend from high school, David Lindsay. Oncora's goal is to apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to historical medical record data in order to improve the quality and cost of radiation therapy treatments.
This is my CV as of June 2015.
