Chenyu Yan received the B.E. degree in Computer Science (1999) and the B.E. degree in International Finance (1999) both from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China. After graduation from colledge, he worked for the HSBC Group in Hongkong and Shanghai. He then came to the United States and pursued PhD degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
Chenyu's research work concerns the hardware support for memory encryption and authentication and the adaptive cache management scheme to enhance cache hit rate. His advisor is Dr. Milos Prvulovic. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2008 and now works at Microsoft.
