Associate Professor, College of Architecture & College of Computing
Ellen Yi-Luen Do is an associate professor in GVU center, the College of
Architecture, and the College of Computing, at Georgia Institute of
Technology, and affiliate faculty at the Health Systems Institute and the
Center for Music Technology.
Her research interest is on making things
that think, spaces that sense, and places that play.
She is currently Conference Co-chair for ACM/Eurographics SBIM 2011,
Graduate Student Consortium Chair for ACM Creativity and Cognition 2011.
She has served on organizing committees (ACM TEI 2010 program
co-chair, Eurographics SBIM 2010 program co-chair, CHI 2010
workshop co-chair, C&C 2009 treasurer, DCC 2007 local co-chair, DCC 2006
workshop co-chair, Ubicomp 2003 site chair) and technical committees (AAAI
Symposium, Eurographics SBIM, DCC, IEEE DigiTel, INTERACT, ACADIA, CAAD
Futures, etc.).
She is on the editorial board for international journal of
Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Design, Analysis and Manufacturing
(AIEDAM), Cambridge University Press, and International Journal of
Automation and Smart Technology (AUSMT), and served on the board for
International Journal of Architectural Computing (IJAC), Multi-Science,
and the executive board of Space.City.
She has reviewed for CHI,
