CS 6265: Information Security Lab

CS 6265 is a laboratory course for students in their third semester of the Master's degree program in Information Security. This is a hands-on class offering students practical experience working with malicious code and defensive techniques. We work out of a security isolation lab with limited Internet connectivity. Students in this course participate in an international capture-the-flag context held in December.
This course is project intensive. Students should be prepared to spend time writing and studying code in C, x86 assembly, and scripting languages.
Prerequisites: CS 6238, CS 6262
Standing: Students must be in the MS-INFS degree program.
