Hideyuki Nakanishi was a visiting researcher under Gregory Abowd inUbiquitous Computing Research Group, College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology from April 2005 through March 2006. He was also an assistant professor in Department of Social Informatics, Kyoto University in Japan. He received B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in computer science, and a Ph.D. degree in informatics from Kyoto University in 1996, 1998 and 2001 respectively. He is interested in automated capture and access systems for supporting real-world social interaction. You can see more information in his Kyoto Univ. site.
