My research area is heterogeneous architectures especially CPUs+GPUs. Tools to help programming and improving performance and energy efficiency of heterogeneous architectures are the main research topcis. Lately, I am also looking at embedded systems. Please visit HPArch research group homepage to see the recent updates. I joined Georgia Tech's School of Computer Science in 2007 as an assistant professor. I received my Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. I was a member of the HPS Research Group at the University of Texas at Austin. Before that I worked as a researcher at Hyundai Motor Company Research Center between 1998-2000 to develop next-generation engine designs. I was an intern at Intel Corporation during the summers of 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006, working on problems in computer architecture and hardware/software interaction.
