I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the
GVU Center and the
School of Interactive Computing at the
Georgia Institute of Technology. I am a member of the
Human Centered Computing Ph.D. program and am an active mobile HCI researcher.
I am a member of the
Contextual Computing Group and am conducting my thesis research under the guidance of
Dr. Thad Starner. My thesis work centers around improving mobile text input on mini-QWERTY keyboards. I also study how collocated groups of people use mobile devices to augment their face-to-face experiences. Having the opportunity to balance quantitative and methodological work with qualitative/social research is one of the things that I really love about what I do.
