About me:

My name is Jake Huckaby. I am a third year doctoral student at Georgia Tech in the Robotics PhD program. I did my undergraduate work at Brigham Young University in Electrical and Computer Engineering, where I spent a year working on our entry in the DARPA Urban Challenge. I am a jazz musician (bass), and I enjoy hiking and spending time with my wife and children.

Research:

My research advisor is Henrik Christensen. I work in the Cognitive Robotics Lab, where I currently do research in mobile manipulation and learning by demonstration.

Professional Experience:

I spent four months at NASA-Goddard in Washington DC where I worked as a Robotics Engineering Intern for a sub-contractor, Mega Engineering.
