Topics in Machine Learning
Advisor: Prof. Isbell
Description
I will pursue selected readings and engage in discussion with Professor
Isbell. The exact course of the project will be determined through these
readings and discussions, though the general topics of machine learning,
reinforcement learning, text retrieval and interactive agents serve as
starting points.
Motivation
The motivation is primarily for me to learn more about the topics listed
above.
Other goals are to potentially open some avenues for future research, and
to learn what it is like to work with Prof. Isbell.
Communications
Communication with Prof. Isbell will be handled partly through email
discussions. Meetings in person will be scheduled as mutually conveinent.
