Reading - I've been reading some non-fiction books as well as "alternative" comic books. Very interesting. Safe Area Goražde(a journalists view and experience of the Balkan war), Castle Waiting (a different, yet still light-hearted, take on fairy tales), Rocketo (a return to tales of high adventure and imagination), and Tezuka's Buddha are some of the comic book highlights. The Seashell on the Mountaintop (the story on Nicolas Steno, who helped create modern geology), Extraordinary Popular Delusion and the Madness of Crowds, The Wisdom of Crowds,and The Equation that Couldn't be Solved are notable non-fiction books I've recently enjoyed.

Games - I like to play games. You can probably tell from other parts of this site. In the strategy board game scene I'm currently a fan of Puerto Rico and San Juan. I also have about seven too many other games sitting on my shelf waiting to be played for the first time.
