Jill P. Dimond

Greetings, my name is Jill Dimond.  I originally hail from Michigan, the peninsula that looks like a mitten  (I can show you where I’m from by pointing to it on my hand.) I am a PhD student at Georgia Tech in the ELC lab with Amy Bruckman.

My research is focused on domestic violence and technology; specifically, what this means in terms of privacy, embodied interaction, and the design of social networking sites.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting, going to shows, cooking, riding my bicycle, traveling, knitting, growing vegetables, spending time with my fiance and my dog Dewey, and having friends over for dinner.
