I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at
Georgia Tech working in the Robotics and Intelligent Machines Lab
with Prof. Charles
(now at University of Texas at Austin).
I completed my Masters degree in the ECE Department at Rutgers
University where I worked with Prof. Michael
in the Real Life Reinforcement Learning Laboratory (RL3
My research interests are in machine learning, interactive
systems, deep learning and reinforcement learning. I have had
experience in applying my methods to both virtual agents and
robotic systems. My primary area of focus has been to integrate
reinforcement learning methods with information from humans. As
part of my doctoral research, I am working on representation
learning and state space exploration strategies for sequential
decision making problems. More recently I have also been gaining
experience in working with deep learning algorithms.
