Projects: Webpages
Experience:

I have constructed many webpages over the years and I am comfortable using CSS, Java, and scripting languages within my sites. I believe that modularity and minimalism are important and undervalued web design principles. I have help developed a number of professional sites and worked to build the database backend using mySQL of WordStockMarket.com. This site, as well as those presented below, are entirely my work and built from scratch.

The SRB Website The SRB Website
Students for Responsible Business:

As the webmaster for Students for Responsible Business I designed and created their organization's website and logo. I needed to network between multiple large committees, each having their own idea about what their page should look like. This website demonstrates my ability to create a scalable and profession level website.

CS182 Programming Assignment:
An Assignment Page Assignment Page

I created a programming assignment and accompanying webpage for the computer science class "The Neural Basis of thought and Language." As the assignment is graded automatically, I carefully designed the website to minimize confusion and maximize comprehension of the requirements. This website demonstrates my ability to carefully design not only for aesthetics but for usability as well.

Mocha Online Front-End:

One of my earliest paid webpages (built in 2000), this webpage is an online interface to a large computational tool for embedded module verification. I used Perl to create, log, and maintain client sessions, as well as manage requests to the single verification application (written in C++). This site demonstrates my ability to successfully tackle the complicated issues involved with integrating a server-side application with a web front-end.
