Technology Review Guideline and Deadline

The technology review aims at providing a survey of some emerging database technology that you are excited about either from your learning experience throughout the class or from your work experience or from your readings in spare time. The review should cover what, why, and how. Basically the "what" component documents the definition of the technology and some related historical background. The "why" component documents the motivation of the technology, including the motivating applications, problems (technical, social, economical), and other driving forces you know of. The "how" component is the main part of the report and it should illustrate the principle and the various technical aspects of the technology, the usage model and patterns, the deployment state, and the future outlook of the technology. Finally a short summary of your own prediction and feel about this technology would give your review an interesting personal touch.
