Biography

Pengcheng Xiong finished his undergraduate study in the department of automation at Huazhong University of Science and Technology with overall GPA 3.94/4.00 and major GPA 4.00/4.00 in 2003. He finished his graduate study in the department of automation at Tsinghua University with overall GPA 3.78/4.00 and major GPA 4.00/4.00 in 2008. He is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Calton Pu at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the College of Computing. He is also affiliated with the Center for Experimental Research in Computer Systems (CERCS), the Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC), and the Distributed Data Intensive Systems Lab (DISL). Pengcheng's primary research project is the Automated Design/Configuration Evaluation and Tuning (Elba) Project, Denial of Information (DoI) Project, and his research focuses Cloud Computing, Service Oriented Architecture and Virtualization, etc.
