I am in my seventh year of PhD study in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My advisors are Professors Thad Starner, Irfan Essa, and James M. Rehg in Computational Perception Lab, School of Interactive Computing. This graph explains the complicated affiliation hierarchy. My research interests are Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and (classic) Biology. My current research project is to investigate discriminative feature selection in various time sequence classification tasks. I received my Bachelor's degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University in 2002, and my Master's degree from the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005.Check out my resume in PDF.
