My office (CCB 315) and the Computational Perception Lab (CPL) are both located in the College of Computing Building (CCB):
Take the stairs to the 3rd floor of CCB and go through the wooden double doors (these doors are access-controlled after-hours and on weekends)Walk straight ahead and you will reach the entrance to the CPL (glass doors)These doors are access-controlled at all times. The Child Study Lab (Suite 206) and Administrative Wing (Suite 220) are located in the Health Systems Institute (HSI) building, on 5th St. in Tech Square, across from the Starbucks between Spring St. and West Peachtree:
The HSI entrance is accessed from the parking lot, to the left of the Parking Office (the door and elevator are access-controlled after hours and on weekends)Take the elevator to the second floor and walk down the corridorTo reach the CSL, take the first right, and Suite 206 is the first door on the rightTo reach the administrative wing, take the second right, and Suite 220 is the first door on the left.
CCB: Tell the cab driver to take you to the intersection of Atlantic Dr. NW and Ferst Dr. NW on the Georgia Tech campus in Midtown Atlanta. The driver can pull into Atlantic from Ferst and let you off. Walk down Atlantic, and the CCB is the second building on the left (the entrance is off a small, curved courtyard).
For HSI: Tell the cab driver to take you to 48 5th St NW in Midtown Atlanta (this is actually the address of the Starbucks). The HSI is located across 5th St. from the Starbucks (walk through the parking lot).
The Georgia Tech campus can be reached conveniently from the airport via the MARTA (subway):
The airport is at the very end of the north-south subway line, and Georgia Tech is on this line as well.Take the subway from the airport (it doesn’t matter which train you get on, they all go the same direction)Stay on the train when you reach the 5 Points subway stop, which is the intersection of the N-S and E-W lines.Four stops past 5 Points, get off at the Midtown stop.Take the escalator up, and exit the station on the side that is OPPOSITE from 10th St. (Midtown Station)The Georgia Tech Trolley will stop here. Get on the trolley (Trolley Hours)The first stop (on 5th St.) is Tech Square. Get off here for the HSI (walk back down 5th the way you came, cross Spring St., and the HSI building is on your left off the parking lot)To reach the CCB, take the third stop after Tech Square, cross the street, and walk down Atlantic Dr. The CCB is the second building on the left (the entrance is off a small, curved courtyard)
Both CCB and HSI have visitor parking lots nearby (see the Campus Map). During busy times these lots can be full. An alternative is the Centergy Parking Deck, which is located in Tech Square and always has space. Both CCB and HSI can be reached by walking (around 5 min for HSI, 10 min for CCB) or by taking the Tech Trolley. Address:
