I love the outdoors, and am into mountain biking, road biking, hiking, and ultimate frisbee. I also love music, and play piano and trumpet.

Drove from Seattle to Pasadena with Roozbeh, we took I-5 from Seattle to San Francisco, then CA-1 from San Francisco to Pasadena. We got caught in the dark near Big Sur, due to really bad traffic leaving Seattle, and also due to the trip taking longer than we expected in general. :) I think I speak for both of us when I say I had a really good time, despite not getting much sleep.
We saw the "Wildlife Safari" in Oregon (definitely worth checking out), where you drive an hour loop through a sort of zoo. We had to stop to let bears cross the road. There were also lions, elephants, giraffes, and many other animals.
The coast and cliffs were very cool, there was thick fog covering the ocean, and it was below us on the cliffs. Above was the sky, and at night there were lots of stars. It's a very cool experience to see clouds below and stars above. I took some videos of this area in the afternoon (my head is in the videos because I used my laptop to take them):
After the cliffs we drove through Big Sur. Big Sur and the whole forest around it were extremely foggy, which meant we had to drive really slowly (less than 30 mph), most of the time.
