(The only superstition that I believe. Just in case..! :) It looks pretty too, doesn't it?)

Me and My research:
I'm a PhD Student at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Dept. of Computer Eng. and jointly advised by Prof. Tucker Balch and Prof. Nadia Erdogan. It's my great pleasure to work as a researcher with Prof. Tucker Balch. at the BORG Lab. in Georgia Institute of Technology, College of Computing Department.
I would like to thank Prof. Balch, Prof. Erdogan, ITU, Tincel Kultur Vakfi (Turkey), Siemens (Turkey) and US NAVY for their moral and/or grant support for my research here in Georgia Tech. My special thanks go to my family and friends.

My main research interest is in cooperation among robots in a multi-robot team. I work on a multi-robot cooperation framework as my PhD thesis research and investigate how robots can achieve complex missions in a cooperative manner meanwhile handling many unplanned events and uncertainties.
Although currently multi-robots are in research laboratories, watch for them help people in many ways such as space explorations, search and rescue operations.

Where am I from?
I'm from the beautiful city of Istanbul (Turkey) connecting two continents as a bridge between The West and The East. The picture on the northeast side of this webpage belongs to Ataturk, who is the contributor of many reforms in Turkish Republic of which he is the founder and the first president. It is his will making Turkey a contemporary Muslim country and opening doors for me and other Turkish women scientists to freely do research.
