Emergine Database Technology Trends And The Role Of Reverse Engineering
Abstract:
Database technology is currently faced with a major challenge
in terms of an emerging breed of aplications. At the same time, it is also
saddled with a heavy investment in applications and databases developed
with the legacy database models and systems.
In this talk, the speaker will trace the database
evolution and discuss new product trends and application
challenges. The talk will conclude with some issues pertaining to
abstraction and reverse engineering of existing databases and applications.
