Hi! My name is Yee Chieh, though I often go by “Denise”. I’m a 5th year Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech in Human-Centered Computing, where I am advised by Bruce Walker and work in the Sonification Lab. My research focuses mainly on Auditory Graphs and how they can be used by teachers and students to learn and understand middle school math. I grew up on the sunny tropical island of Guam, “Where America’s Day Begins”, and moved to the continental US in 2002 where I attended the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) and received my bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science. |
