Welcome to my homepage.
I am a PhD student in the Human-Centered Computing program at Georgia Tech , currently working in the Information Interfaces Lab . My advisor is Prof. John Stasko .
research interests
Visual representations play a crucial role in human sense-making and decision-making. I am interested in understanding how people make sense of information with the aid of visual representations and building interactive systems to facilitate this process.
My research approach is human-centered: the investigation on human cognitive processes involved in sense-making is informed by theoretical and methodological frameworks in cognitive science, psychology and anthropology; the design and implementation of interactive systems leverage human's powerful abilities of perception and meaning-construction.
