Aaron Bobick is Director of the GVU Center, an Associate Professor in the College of Computing, and a member of CoC Computational Perception Lab. His focus is on machine perception of human activity and his interests range from computer vision to cognitive science. Current projects involve perception for the Aware Home and work in gait recognition for the HumanID program in DARPA. Before joining Georgia Tech in 1999, Professor Bobick was on the faculty of the MIT Media Lab where his research included developing interactive environments such as the KidsRoom. |
