GVU Research Showcase Spring 2022

Featured Projects

Improving the user experience of interactive tools used to collect, maintain, and display tree and fruit data to better support Concrete Jungle’s mission of transforming overlooked and underutilized fruit trees and land into a year round food source for food banks, shelters and people in need.
This research project aims to develop computational and analytic approaches that can utilize Crisis Text Line's conversations to examine, quantify, and understand ‚"minority stress" and thereafter glean meaningful insights into the unique mental health challenges and needs of LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) individuals.
The project's goal is to help people to identify some of the variables involved in air traffic safety, and understand that air traffic safety relies on both technology and the people who control it. Hopefully, it will be illuminating to anyone concerned with air traffic safety.
