The goal of this research is to investigate the role that intelligent agents might play in facilitating these interactions to ensure that patients are empowered to learn about and manage their health, that doctors are not overburdened, and that the communication and coordination between the two remains effective and efficient in the short and long term.
As the 2020 pandemic soared, so did the customer demand for contactless buying online and pickup in-store orders. To meet our customer needs while doing the right things for the safety of our community, Home Depot launched the Curbside Pickup service.
Shimi is a smart-phone enabled robotic musical companion that can respond to and enhance your musical experiences. Developed in collaboration with Media Innovation Lab at IDC Herzliya, Shimi is controlled by an Android phone utilizing its built in sensing and music generation capabilities. This allows easy development of additional custom mobile apps. The first application developed for Shimi, allows the robot to listen to and analyze rhythms played by humans, and respond by choosing songs similar beat and tempo from the phone music library.
