Our team is dynamic, diverse, and loves to have fun. We work in the Hangar, Delta’s Innovation Lab in Tech Square. Students must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week during the Fall & Spring semesters and will receive flight benefits.


 Collaborate with internal and external partners to explore and transform ideas into workable solutions that provide a deeper understanding of Delta’s business challenges
 Provide technical hardware-based solutions for both simple and complex development projects to achieve key business objectives
 Proactively identify, define, and solve complex business challenges; understand impact on other areas
 Report on status of development, quality, and performance to management
 Develop pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends and customer needs and develop innovative
solutions to meet these needs
 Collaborate with the team on hardware design and decision-making
 Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
 Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine potential impact on business
 Recommend technology direction and/or adjustments to incorporate in business plans
 Evaluate and recommend hardware and software products and help assess the organizational impact of
new technologies


 Undergraduate or graduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3.2 GPA
 Passion and experience in hardware development and testing
 Familiarity with hardware and software development best practices and architecture design
 Experience with low level sensor-based technologies and implementations, wireless sensor technologies
(RFID, NFC, BLE, etc.), and microprocessors (Arduino IDE, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
 Comfort with physical installations and implementation of hardware solutions in user environment
 Ability to work well independently and on a closely-knit team
 Flexibility and organizational skills to multi-task, juggle, and re-prioritize multiple projects and stakeholder
 Attention to detail and ability to deliver within tight deadlines
 Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, with minimal direct guidance
