Are you frustrated trying to find IT-related information on GT web sites? Tired of fumbling with faq.oit.gatech.edu or opening support tickets? Are you interested in creating a chat bot to help with campus IT questions? We may have a job for you! Come join us in creating a Georgia Tech IT focused bot (Buzz-Bot-IT). Modern web services are available to handle many of the difficult parts of a chatbot, but there’s still plenty of work to do provide a usable service. The CoE and CoC IT teams have a grant and are looking to hire two sophomore or junior students (up to 20 hours a week, negotiable) for Fall and Spring semester to develop a user-platform-agnostic prototype of Buzz-Bot-IT using the Microsoft Azure Bot Framework (https://dev.botframework.com/ ). If you have experience with user interface design, web service integration, and/or chatbots in general, we’d love to talk with you.
