Picture of Wei Tang Biography

I was born in Beijing, China. If you want to give me birthday gifts, send me an email :-). In 1996, I received my BS degree from the CS department at Peking University in China. Then I went to University of Alberta, Canada to pursue my Master's degree in CS. I got the MS in 1998 before I came to US for my Ph.D. study in Oregon Graduate Institute in Portland, Oregon. I spent one year in the cool west coast. And now I am a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, Georgia. I am enjoying the southern sunshine right now. I have to struggle to survive the hot and humid summer every year, though. If I can handle my Ph.D. study, I think the weather is just a piece of cake :-).
