Punch Bowl

Purchase in honor of Kathi Pierce Rhodes, President of
the Members Guild, 1993-94, with funds from the
Decorative Arts Endowment, 1993.13

While First Lady of New York, Eleanor Roosevelt
commissioned this Punch Bowl (for use in the
Governor's Mansion. It was intended to evoke New
York City on New Year's Eve. The distinctive blue
represents the night sky reflecting the lights of
Manhattan.
