Project Description

The Enterprise Workflow Computing research project aims at developing a flexible framework and algorithms to support adaptive, reliable, and efficient enterprise workflow activities in distributed open environments like the Internet and enterprise intranets. We combine advanced transaction processing (TP) technologies with adaptive methods to guide our system design, and build the mechanisms by extending the functions of existing TP systems.

Project Members and Collaborations

Software Development

The team has developed two suites of software tools: XWRAP family and TAM. XWRAP family consists of XWRAPElite and XWRAPComposer, aiming at providing a Java and WSDL code generator system for single page Java wrapper and Multi-page java wrapper.

TAM is a a prototype implementation of our dynamic workflow activites scheduling algorithms for effectively monitoring and managing transactional workflow applications. See walk through of demo systems or follow this link to the Demo page. Note that this Demo requires a JDK 1.1 enabled browser.
