BlurbFrameMaker 4.0 is now available on our SGI systems.
FrameMaker fully integrates WYSIWYG word processing, graphics,
page layout, tables, long-document building, equations editing,
and conditional text. Architected to include functionality that
relieves users from having to combine output from separate word
processing, graphics, and page layout software applications,
FrameMaker makes writing and publishing documents more efficient
and cost-effective. FrameMaker is the only writing and publishing
tool that runs on all major workstations and desktop platforms
(UNIX, Apple Macintosh, Windows) at the most current release
version. FrameMaker documents can be moved from one platform to
another without any loss of information. This critical feature
makes it possible for large companies to standardize on
FrameMaker as their company-wide word processing and document
publishing solution. FrameMaker also includes industry-standard
filters for leading software programs, enabling users to easily
integrate information created with other software, such as
spreadsheets, word processors, and graphics packages, into
FrameMaker documents.
