MASALA

Micro-Architecture and System-Architecture Laboratory

MASALA is a joint laboratory space for students working on a variety of computer architecture research projects. The word "Masala" originally describes a mix of spices (often used in Indian cuisine), but it is very appropriate for this lab as the research projects happening here and many and varied, covering a wide range of computer architecture topics from low-level microarchitecture to high-level system-design and programmability issues.
