Well apparently I only have a one meg quota on the web server around here, so for the time being, this is as done as my pages are going to be. I was hoping for a lot more, but it can't be helped. But there is hope! A web-server is being run on prism, and I have lots more drive space over there. Now you may wonder, why have two webs? The answer is I don't know how stable that server is. So on this site I have random information and my resume... the other site is my full-blown web creation. Don't worry about getting there... it should be pretty seamless (if you really want to know, click anime to go to the other server).
NOTE: I tend to write like I talk, so it's probably pretty confusing. Just bear with me, and if you get lost, try reading aloud with the following in mind: I tend to mumble pointless comments under my breath (usually sarcastic). Everything in parenthesis (like this) should be read as such. Thanks... now on with the show:Since this is MY page, I figure I'll indulge in MY "addictions"... and addictions they are. Completely legal addictions (stop laughing right now), but probably just as expensive anyway (particularly the anime bit).
As you may have guessed from my nickname (well, it's really a handle), one of my hobbies is fire. It's fascinating stuff really.
Next on my list, and the single most expensive hobby I have, is anime (or Japanese animation... but please not "Japanimation"). I love giant robots, combat mecha, and girls with guns. But it isn't all about violence, there's drama, comedy, and horror... everything under the sun... What more could you ask for? (You could say I have a yen to anime... but that would be a horrible pun.)
Although, IMHO, anime is the best paint on cellulose around, I still enjoy almost anything animated: Japanese, American, computer-generated, or whatever. Cartoons just rule! Everyone knows the Flintstones, Scooby Doo, and The Smurfs, but do you remember the ThunderCats, Silverhawks, JEM, and Hong Kong Fooey? Well, maybe this'll bring some stuff back... that is if I can remember it myself.
I've always been a big fan of science-fiction/fantasy. It's probably my second most expensive hobby, since I just love to buy books and read them over and over. That is why I've devoted this final section of my electronic world to another world altogether. A world filled with colorful people, and more importantly, colorful dragons. I didn't make this world, but I invite you to come join me in Anne McCaffrey's Pern. (Probably my all-time favorite series of books.)
