About Me

I am a Computer Science PhD student at the Georgia Institute of Technology researching topics in Character Animation, Robotics, Machine Learning and Physical Simulation. I am currently working on haptic-aware character control strategies for humanoid manipulation of simulated deformable objects with applications in robot assisted dressing. I am advised by Greg Turk, and C. Karen Liu.

In Summer 2015, I was the instructor for CS3451, Georgia Tech's introductory Computer Graphics course.

I am a Black Belt and Instructor in Hapkido.

I am an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the BSA Order of the Arrow.

I live and adventure with my wife Melissa, son Warrick, our Australian Shepherd Fenrir and our three cats: Scrambles, Pokey, and Sweet Pea.
