Aaron St. Clair portrait

I am a postdoctoral fellow in computer science at Georgia Institute of Technology in the School of Interactive Computing and the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines working with Professor Sonia Chernova as a member of the Robot Autonomy and Interactive Learning Lab (RAIL).

I completed my PhD in computer science in June 2015 at University of Southern California's Robotics and Autonomous Systems Center as a member of the Interaction Lab advised by Professor Maja Matarić.

I have been supported by and actively involved in federally sponsored research and am also a recipient of a USC Viterbi School of Engineering fellowship. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in December 2007 and my M.S. from USC in 2015.

Research

My research is focused on human-robot task collaborations and human-machine teamwork combining aspects of human-robot interaction, service robotics, and machine learning to enable robots to effectively work with, assist, and provide guidance to people.
