Game Playing: The Tournament Results

The Games

The top finishers in the tourney from project 2 are below. For the sake of points, players only had to compete within their own sections. Just to satisfy our curiosity, we let everyone play against everyone else for isolation, but that was impossible for blockem. In that case, only the top few from each section were allowed to compete for championship of the univese.

Isolation was played with 30x35 board and a playing time of 400 seconds per player. Blockem was played on a 20x20 board with all the pieces given for testing plus some 4x4 and 3x3 blocks, and a playing time of 500 seconds per player.
