UGS's Mechatronics Initiative
Don Vossler is a UGS Fellow and Vice President in the Office of
Architecture & Technology at UGS. He is currently leading UGS's
Mechatronics Initiative, a project to develop advanced software for
designing, analyzing, testing and manufacturing complex products
characterized by closely integrated mechanical,
electrical/electronic and embedded software sub-systems. Don will
present some accomplishments, as well as challenges facing the project
and describe opportunities for advanced research that would benefit
companies who strive to improve their mechatronics systems development
processes.
