Kim MacLeod
I have been working in web/application development for over a decade, mostly in higher education. I started working for the College of Computing in 2014 after transferring from the Office of Information Technology at Georgia Tech. Before coming to Georgia Tech, I was charter staff at Georgia Gwinnett College allowing me to build the campus’ first web presence along with the college’s first portal gateway.
I obtained my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and M.S. in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University.
Things I like to do:
- Build Websites
- Build Templates for various CMSs
- Create logos and an identity businesses
- Editing pictures (trying to work on my Photoshop skills)
My newest interest is wedding invitations. I also like helping people with their resumes. I am always amazed at how poorly people represent themselves on a document that has such a impact on how the future of their career can go.
Outside of the IT realm, I enjoy:
- Learning to cook new things
- Traveling
- Meeting new people
- Spending time with family, especially with my new bundle of joy, Caroline.
