My Trip to Brazil

In July 2002, I traveled to Brazil to attend a conference held near Florianopolis, located on Santa Catarina Island, just off the southern coast of the country. After the conference, I spent a weekend visiting Iguacu Falls, a truly spectacular natural wonder. There are links at the bottom of this page to additional pages with many pictures of the falls.

Both of the picture collections that are linked below include pictures taken from three perspectives: during a boat trip on the river, while walking along the edge of the gorge on the Brazilian side of the river, and from walkways built out over the river on the Argentinian side.
