Dominate the summer’s keen
Sun’s scorching sheen.
Mangoes, the succor and solace
Of sunburn and thirsty victims
Arranged in scintillating hues.
The raw greens like the spicy youth
Are sweet and sour forsooth
Tempt and tease the tongue and tooth.
The yellows and the ripe reds
Hold the quintessential succulence
Age and grace at one glance.
