I am an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I completed my PhD program in the Data Systems Lab at the University of Waterloo in 2017, and I obtained my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University in 2011.

My research interests revolve around two themes: (1) using data management technologies to make machine learning more usable, for example, through automating feature engineering and model interpretation; and (2) using latest machine learning technologies to solve hard data management problems such as data cleaning.

I am looking for motivated graduate students. If you are interested in doing research at the intersection of data management and machine learning, feel free to send me an email.
