Hi Nick,

We met your advisor Greg Abowd and a couple of his students last Friday
when he was giving a demo at PARC. The ClassRoom200 project is pretty
cool - quite similar to the PARC meeting capture stuff in some ways,
but better since it's more useful. (Who wants to listen to a meeting TWICE!)

Grag mentioned that you were looking for a video player. Have you looked
at Berkeley's continuous media player?

http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/cmt

It lets you write scripts to control what parts of the video to play back.
They use mpeg1, and support Unix, SGI, and keep promising to have it
for Windows.
