This is straight from the Netscape pages:

JAVA ENHANCEMENTS

Netscape continues its market leadership role of providing support for
Java applets by adding Macintosh, Windows 3.1, and two new flavors of
Unix (IBM AIX and BSDI ) to its list of supported platforms (Macintosh
68K and Windows 3.1 support will be available in future betas).

So the answer to our question from yesterday is that there will be
3.1 support...sometime.

Yeah, right! :)
